Twisted Side Swept Hairstyle

Time:  2 1/2 - 3 hours (with interruptions, distractions, and a non cooperative 7 yr old)

Products used:
  • Organix Moroccan Argan Oil Conditioner (as a leave in),
  • Coconut Oil
  • Blue Magic Oil Organics with Shea Butter, Jojoba Oil, and Japanese Green Tea Leaves(I know! I know! Blue Magic!?!, my mom gave it to us and we're trying it out.)
  • A home mixture of Shea Butter, Coconut oil, Vitamin E and Jojoba Oils.
Our haircare routine

So far this is what we've got...

Sunday is wash day.
1. We take down whatever hairstyle her hair is in
2. Shampoo (either once a month, or as needed.)
  •  summertime calls for more shampoos because playing causes her hair to get dirty faster.
  • I try to buy her her own shampoo but I'm not so picky about it because I use it so infrequently.
3. Condition. ( I try to deep condition her hair twice a month, but with my work schedule and her schedule, it's hard to do sometimes. That and she hates the deep conditioning cap.)
  • I like to use Organix or Pantene, I don't use anything on her hair I wouldn't use on mine.
4. Rinse.
5. Leave to air dry a little (unless I'm in a hurry.)
6. Detangle.
  •  Organix Moroccan Argan Oil works really well for detangling her hair.
  • Damp, closer to dry hair, is what works best for detangling with her hair.
  • I've noticed that conditioner works but it takes a lot of work and it tangles back up quickly.
  • I like to detangle her hair as I style it, It causes her less pain because it's detangle and I automatically style it instead  of leaving it to tangle up again.
7. Style.
